Requests for Remote Work

10/28/2020

Dear Members,

Many are asking about the process to follow if you choose a remote option.  If you are going to request working from home you need to email your building principal.  The principal will ask you to fill out a Google form.  If there are any additional questions or concerns that arise after the survey is completed the member will be contacted by the principal for clarification.

Each member will be asked to check in at their physical building once every two weeks and to touch base with an administrator (supervisor, director, coordinator, AP, or principal).  This check-in can be done virtually from the building or in person.  Also, it can be done before or after school hours if the person feels more comfortable with that set up.  There is flexibility in working with the building principal to make this contact.  The building principals are looking to stay connected with staff in some way during this remote time.

Many members have started the process and are getting responses back in a timely manner.

Thank you and take care.

Best,
Eileen Barry
