Dear Members,
As I am sure you know by now last night the School Committee voted to switch to a Remote Model for an indefinite time due to the number of COVID cases in the city. As of Monday, students will be learning remotely from home however, teachers will still be working under the Hybrid MOU that we presently have. The Negotiations Team started to work with the Superintendent on a Remote Teaching MOU. We will get that worked out as quickly as possible so that teachers may have the option of teaching from home if they so wish.
We will keep you updated as we progress forward towards a Remote MOU.
